The Client will come to the A2Z Cares location and clock in by 9 a.m. and will perform both timed and non-timed simulated work activity as it is competitively performed in the community. The Client will take one-hour for lunch (11:30a-12: 30p) and then "work" until 3:30 p.m.
The Consumer will have opportunities to work at over 12 different workstations while learning effective behaviors for sustaining competitive employment in the community. He/She will be evaluated on ability to get along with authority figures and co-workers, accept multi-tasked instructions, follow policy and procedures, and to make progress in overcoming the barriers that are making it difficult for sustaining competitive employment.
The participant will be placed at a selected community work site. We provide an on-site work adjustment coach to assist the recipient. Both part-time and full-time work adjustment sites will be arranged.
